See you later!

Hello! This week has been full of laughs and words. Caralin is talking (mostly gibberish) more and more. When she gets up from her nap she is a little motor mouth. And when we go somewhere she has to talk to everyone that walks past (Kevin says she gets it from me, but I don't talk that much. Do I?). She said her first sentence the other day. It was only three words - See You Later - but a sentence none the less. It doesn't quite come out exactly like we would say it, naturally, but it is definately "see you later". It is really cute.
Her Nana and Papa bought her a baby stroller. She loves to put her baby in it and take her for walks around the house. I took a video of her the other day. Check it out. Bye.

Time flys!

I can't believe that is has been 10 days since my last post. I mean I get on the computer just about everyday and I see our blog and think I need to add something, but it is crazy how not much, yet way too much, has been going on. Today is my mom's birthday. Happy Birthday Mom! Caralin and I are going to go see her later this afternoon to drop off a card and say "Hello".

Caralin and I made another trip to the Zoo and Seaworld this week (thank God for annual passes). She loves to get out and see all the animals. I swear she's going to be a Zoologist or a Veterinarian or maybe a Marine Biologist! The baby tigers are out at the zoo right now. They are so cute! We really liked watching them jump and run around playing. There typically isn't that much action in the tigers area but leave it to three little tiger tots to make it interesting!

Here are a couple of new pictures. My baby is looking more like a little girl everyday. It's Scary! Check out how long her hair is getting, and it's cute little flip!

More soon! (I promise)

Relay For Life

We just returned from the 24 hour event Relay For Life. Many of our team members stayed up most of the night (and a few crazy ones ALL NIGHT). Kev and I were fortunate to end up with late night and morning shifts so decided to sleep at home last night and return to the event this morning for the closing ceremony. It was a wonderful event. So many people were out there supporting each other and walking in memory of their loved ones. It was a very special way for us to honor the people we have lost in our lives, and we can't wait to do it again next year.

Our team raised over $8000! Go Team YMAC!
Here are some pictures from the event.
Be sure to check out the slide show on the right for more pics! Enjoy!

Mmm...Slurpees

Well it's been a crazy week so sorry I haven't updated till now. My wallet was stollen when I left it at the Starbucks register at Kevin's work. But leave it to me to do a little detective work to track the person down (we even followed behind the bus he was on). He saw us following him and decided to return it back to Vons so I got it back with nothing missing (even though I had already gone through the trouble of cancelling all my cards).

I've started working a couple of days a week at Vons doing price changes which has been going good. I work really early in the morning so I am still able to be home with Caralin most of the day. This week has been tough though because Caralin has had a sinus infection so she hasn't been the happiest of campers and she hasn't been taking good naps (so neither have I).

Kev, Caralin and I went to 7-11 for a little treat yesterday when Kev got off work. Here are a couple cute pics I snapped.

Talk to you soon!
