Project 52 - Week 7

Ok, so I'm not perfect and I completely missed a post! Whoops! So I will catch up by posting two this week.

This picture is from week 7, Valentines Day actually.

It was a wonderful day! Our preschool volunteer group spent the morning visiting with some sweet seniors at two local assisted living homes. They passed out Valentines and smiles and hugs. It was very sweet and I am very proud of our kids and how excited they are to serve and love others. What a blessing!

Project 52 - Week 6!

BIEBER FEVER! ~EEEEEEKKKKK!!!!~

On Friday, I took my 12 year old niece, Bailey, to see the new Justin Bieber movie, "Never Say Never". It was a really cute movie (more like a documentary of how he started) and really put out a message to the young kids watching that they can do anything if they put their heart into it and if they believe in the Lord! I loved that he showed prayer and faith in his movie. I hope that message touched the hearts of the many young people that look up to him.

My niece and I had a lot of fun! Next time... concert!

Project 52 - Week 5

This week's picture was pretty easy to choose! With the help of some amazing friends we launched a volunteer group for preschoolers and their families called One. "One body in Christ. One child will make a difference." The objective is to organize child/family friendly events where the participation focuses on the child leading the way! We had our first event this week: "Valentines for Seniors". It was amazing!
